Regional Vice President, External Wholesaler

Position Overview:

We seek financial service professionals who can meet and exceed sales goals. RVPs will develop new and maintain existing client relationships with advisors/producers within an assigned territory. RVPs will contact advisors, identify needs, and spin market appropriate products and services with the objective of securing new business and expanding relationships. RVPs must be conversant in insurance and securities products, and work to continuously improve their product and industry knowledge. Attendance in staff meetings, onsite and remotely is required.

Requirements:
  • Ability to use consultative sales skills: conduct needs analysis, identify opportunities, and facilitate the sales of annuities and life insurance to advisors and registered representatives
  • Develop and implement business plans for the territory using tactical objectives, in order to guide daily tasks and track progress against goals
  • Manage client relationships throughout the territory via: 1) face-to-face consultative visits; 2) telephone and email communications; 3) product and sales training meetings.
  • Use Clarke’s scheduling system and calendar management to maximize territory priorities
  • Sponsor and participate in client seminars and events to increase business
  • Approach territory and producer groups in a professional manner, working with high integrity and representing Clarke in a positive manner
  • Develop a strong acumen of our partners and their products, as well as current economic and market conditions by staying abreast of happenings within the financial services industry. RVP’s should be able to offer meaningful information and insight in order to establish confidence with client representatives.
  • Utilize modern information systems and software to conduct meaningful presentations and financial illustrations.
  • Demonstrate the effective use of CRM and call reporting tools. Entering data to report business accurately.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree required, Economics or Finance concentration preferred
  • FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63
  • Insurance and Health license within service territory
  • 5 to 7 years of external wholesaling experience preferred, will consider relevant outside financial service sales experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Superb presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Track record of successful client interaction and follow-up
  • Ability to build internal partnerships and relationship
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment
  • Ability to complete an expense report

Internal Wholesaler, Insurance and Annuities

Position Overview:

We seek professional team players who are energetic and motivated to manage advisor relationships over the telephone. Representatives will contact advisors, identify needs, and spin market appropriate products and services with the objective of securing new business and expanding relationships. Representatives must be conversant in insurance and annuity products, and work to continuously improve their product and industry knowledge. Attendance in staff meetings, onsite and outside training is required. Successful players will expand their industry knowledge through online research, and reading marketing and product offerings in our back office web site. Representatives will track and record advisor information in our database. They support the sales activities of Regional Vice Presidents out in the field and troubleshoot applications and paperwork with our case managers.

Requirements:
  • Support the consultative sales efforts of Regional Vice Presidents by making telephone calls to advisors and registered representatives: conduct needs analysis, identify opportunities, and provide product support.
  • Initiate conversations with advisors and producers in order to stimulate interest in products we offer through their financial institution.
  • Manage advisor/producer relationships via: 1) telephone calls; 2) email communications; 3) business appreciation correspondence; and, 4) product and rate updates.
  • Use Clarke’s scheduling system and calendar management to document activity.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to genuinely engage customers in conversation, building rapport in order to assess needs
  • Financial Services / Insurance and Annuity experience
  • Life and Health Licenses (Preferred. Must be able to obtain.)
  • 1 year of telemarketing or customer service experience

Position Overview:

Case management is the quality assurance part of our business, reviewing documents, taking action on pending requirements awaiting underwriting approval, and following-up on delivery requirements.
